Loyal Thurman
founder of Hope For The Rejected

More than ten years ago, God gave Loyal Thurman a calling to reach the underground subcultures with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and he has been involved in subculture ministry with Youth For Christ ever since. Loyal has become a leader in subcultural Christian ministry because of his vast experience with various ministry models, knowledge of subcultural "tribes," and all-consuming passion for the underground Church. Loyal's hope is that every segment of the underground community would be reached with the Gospel, and he knows that this can be accomplished only by a unified Church. |

Tim Mason member of No Innocent Victim / youth pastor of Oasis Church

Tim Mason grew up in the church. For most people, that may have ended badly or taken a wrong turn somewhere, but for Tim, it was a life characterized by self-righteousness, religiosity, and sermonized-driven behavior. Tim went on to join the popular Christian hardcore band, No Innocent Victim. Admittedly, Jesus began to radically grab a hold of his heart, as the hardcore lifestyle left him with more questions then answers.
When No Innocent Victim went through a slow period, Tim actually became the janitor at the church his parents had planted. After scrubbing toilets for over a year, Tim went on to become the Youth Pastor and eventually an Elder at Oasis Church in Redlands, California. Tim was ordained in 2006 and continues to serve in pastoral ministry up to the present. Tim has a sincere heart for people and a great love for the truth of the Word of God, as well as bringing that truth to the world that God has created. Tim is a dedicated student of the gospel and Scripture. |
