UNIFIED UNDERGROUND is a three-day conference that exists for the purpose of unifying Christianity’s largest underground subcultures, including the Punk, Goth, Metal, and Hardcore communities. This unity is accomplished through fellowship, discipleship, teaching, prayer, worship, growth in renewal in Christ.
UNIFIED UNDERGROUND features many speakers discussing a variety of topics particularly significant to subcultural Christians, along with some of the best spirit-filled punk, goth, metal and hardcore bands, playing their own songs as well as worship and hymns done in their own unique styles. The theme of UNIFIED UNDERGROUND 2009 is THE SIDESHOW, and the movement of unity for the subcultural Church will continue this year with the end of the attitude that our scenes are simply a sideshow to the Church body as a whole! We are privileged but unentitled recipients of grace, and integral members of the body—we must unite with the rest of the Church body. This will be an engaging and challenging weekend from which we will walk away restored, invigorated, and with a renewed sense of the purpose which each of us has and the manner in which God wants us to use our gifts.
